There are a few places to climb around Townsville. Frederick Peak has a superb collection of good quality, hard routes.

The command post on Castle Hill was built in 1942 and used by American soldiers during world war II. Now covered in graffiti and Townsville's most popular "selfie" spot, times sure have changed. If the moon could talk I reckon it would just laugh at us....
